Job Summary
Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and assigned hospital areas. Operate and clean equipment, manage linen services, clean floors and surfaces, and handle specialty areas while adhering to infection control and safety standards. Distribute linens and supplies to assist smooth hospital operations, maintain stock levels on nursing floors, and safely package all waste streams. Work in a fast-paced environment using bed management systems like EPIC, pagers, and phones. Schedule runs 12pm to 8:30pm with every other weekend and three holidays annually.
Required Qualifications
- Must be flexible with schedule days and scheduled shifts.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work as a team and move from task to task with ease.
- Must be able to use a bed management system such as EPIC, use of pagers and phones.
- We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
