Job Summary
House Manager / Family Assistant to support a household and assist with care for a 12-year-old child entering 6th grade. Responsibilities include managing morning and afternoon routines (including school transportation), supervising and supporting the child, preparing lunches and simple healthy meals, organizing household projects and inventories, coordinating vendors and service appointments, handling mail, errands, calendars, and general logistics, light laundry, meal preparation, and caring for two large dogs. Requires CPR and First Aid certification, reliable vehicle and driving license, strong communication skills, NDA, and professional references. The role is 24 hours per week with a Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday schedule including mornings and early afternoons. Experience with learning differences (NVLD/ADHD/autism) and comfort with children who have developmental needs is preferred, and swimming/outdoor activity enthusiasm is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license
- Comfortable around large dogs
- Strong communication skills and professional references
- Tech-savvy, highly organized, and able to work independently
- Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
- Able to provide 3–5 professional references
- Experience supporting children with learning differences or similar developmental needs is preferred
