Job Summary
Plan and execute assigned orders for household moves, assist the driver with loading/unloading and paperwork, maintain accurate order status, and ensure safety while handling freight. Roles emphasize aiding the driver, coordinating with dispatchers, providing customer service, and working in a team to meet customer satisfaction and profitability. Requires lifting up to 75 lbs, a valid driver’s license, strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities; prior household moving experience preferred but on‐the‐job training is available.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Must be organized
- Proven track record of working in a team environment and autonomously
- Experience working in the household moving industry preferred, but willing to train on the job
- Positive communication skills
- Candidate must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong work ethic
- Customer service skills
- Very organized and work in a timely manner
