Job Summary
Manage hospital operations during shifts when nursing unit managers and administration are absent. Provide leadership for daily unit activities, develop staff through role modeling, and demonstrate wide-ranging nursing skills including the application of the nursing process. Input into and help achieve unit goals while maintaining general operational oversight. Requires an Oregon RN license, BLS certification, and one year of charge nurse or leadership experience. Per diem, variable shift schedule with on-call availability at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience
