Job Summary
Manage hospital operations during periods when nursing unit managers, department managers, and administration are absent. Provide leadership for daily unit operations, develop staff through role modeling professional practice, and help achieve unit goals. Demonstrate a wide range of general nursing and unit-specific skills, including application of the nursing process. Requires Oregon Registered Nurse License, BLS certification, and one year of Charge Nurse or leadership experience. Per-diem variable shift with on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience
