Job Summary
Manage hospital operations during hours when nursing unit managers and administration are absent. Provide leadership for daily nursing unit operations by role modeling professional practice and achieving unit goals. Demonstrate a wide range of nursing and unit-specific skills, including application of the nursing process. Lead and develop staff through effective management skills. Requires Oregon Registered Nurse License, BLS certification, and one year of charge nurse or leadership experience. Per diem, variable shift schedule with on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience
