Job Summary
Manage the general operation of the hospital during hours when nursing unit managers, department managers, and administration are not present. Provide leadership for daily nursing unit operations by role modeling professional practice and effective management skills. Lead and develop staff while providing input to help achieve unit goals. Demonstrate a wide range of general nursing and unit-specific skills, including application of the nursing process. Requires an Oregon Registered Nurse License, one year of Charge Nurse or leadership experience, and National Provider BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience
