Job Summary
Manage the general operation of the hospital during hours when nursing unit managers and administration are absent. Provide leadership for daily nursing unit operations by role modeling professional practice and developing staff through effective management skills. Demonstrate a wide range of general nursing and unit-specific skills while providing input to help achieve unit goals. Requires an Oregon Registered Nurse license, one year of charge nurse or leadership experience, and BLS certification. Per diem, variable shift schedule with on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience
