Job Summary
Manage hospital operations during shifts when unit managers and administration are absent. Lead daily nursing unit activities, provide leadership through role modeling, and develop staff by demonstrating professional practice and effective management skills. Input into unit goals and apply a wide range of nursing and unit-specific skills. Requires Oregon RN license, BLS certification, and one year of charge nurse or leadership experience. Per diem, variable shift schedule with on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience
