Job Summary
Manage hospital operations during shifts when nursing unit managers, department managers, and administration are absent. Provide leadership for daily nursing unit operations, develop staff through role modeling, and demonstrate a wide range of general nursing and unit-specific skills. Input into and help achieve unit goals while applying the nursing process. Requires an Oregon RN license, BLS certification, one year of charge nurse or leadership experience, and graduation from an accredited nursing program. Per diem, variable shift schedule with on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
