Job Summary
Manage the general operation of the hospital during hours when nursing unit managers and administration are absent. Provide leadership for daily nursing unit operations, develop staff through role modeling, and help achieve unit goals. Demonstrate a wide range of general nursing and unit-specific skills while applying the nursing process. This per diem, variable shift position requires an Oregon Registered Nurse with one year of charge nurse or leadership experience. The role is located at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR, with additional compensation available through shift differentials, overtime, and bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience
