Job Summary
Manage the general operation of the hospital during hours when nursing unit managers and administration are absent. Provide leadership for daily nursing unit operations, develop staff through role modeling, and contribute to achieving unit goals. Demonstrate a wide range of general nursing and unit-specific skills, including the application of the nursing process. Requires an Oregon Registered Nurse License, BLS certification, and one year of charge nurse or leadership experience. This per-diem, variable shift role offers a base pay range of $56.25 to $88.81 with additional compensation available for overtime, premiums, and incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience
