Job Summary
Manage the general operation of the hospital during hours when nursing unit managers and administration are absent. Provide leadership for daily nursing unit operations, develop staff through role modeling, and help achieve unit goals. Demonstrate a wide range of general nursing and unit-specific skills, including the application of the nursing process. Requires an Oregon Registered Nurse license, one year of charge nurse or leadership experience, and BLS certification. Per Diem/On-Call variable shift position at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience
