Job Summary
Manage the general operation of the hospital during hours when nursing unit managers and administration are absent. Provide leadership for daily nursing unit operations, develop staff through role modeling, and demonstrate wide-ranging nursing and unit-specific skills. Input into unit goals and apply the nursing process to ensure safe patient care. Requires an Oregon RN license, BLS certification, and one year of charge nurse or leadership experience. Schedule is per diem with variable shifts and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience
