House Supervisor - RN

Job Summary
Supervises house float pool and full-time float staff. Serves as Administrator-In-House after hours, weekends and holidays. Assists in the provision of supplemental nursing staff to in-patient and other areas. Works with departments within the hospital to ensures appropriate and timely patient placement. Implements emergency plans for the facility. Interacts with patients, families, staff and physicians to ensure prompt resolution of concerns. Maintains customer-service focus and supports hospital mission/goals. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, coordinating supplies/equipment, and addressing facility issues through the chain of command.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a (RN) Registered Nurse and have a license in the State of Texas - compact is accepted
- Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing
- Must have a minimum of two year's management/supervisory experience
- Must have experience in ICU
- Must have a minimum of 3 years ICU experience for this position
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
