Job Summary
House Supervisor (PRN) oversees hospital operations and nursing care during assigned shifts, coordinating staffing, patient flow, and bed placement. Acts as a resource and leader for nursing staff and other departments, providing guidance, education, and support to ensure quality patient care. Manages hospital-wide situations, assists with data monitoring, and assumes administrative responsibilities in the absence of leadership. Requires RN licensure and BLS; ACLS, NRP, TNCC, and PALS per local affiliate guidelines. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills with a track record of progressive growth in leadership is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
