Job Summary
Supervise hospital personnel and functions within the assigned facility, including patient care delivery, in the absence of the Administrator or Department Director. Facilitate efficient operational activities, identify and resolve staffing issues with the Centralized Staffing Team, and optimize patient flow and placement with Mission Control and facility leadership. Respond to disasters, codes, emergencies, and issues outside normal practices. Lead as a key resource for administrative representatives knowledgeable about organizational policy and procedures. Requires a current Washington State Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and minimum two years of psychiatric nursing experience with one year in supervisory capacity. Shifts are 12 hours, minimum four per month, with competitive hourly pay ranging from $53.39 to $84.43 including weekend and night differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse licensed with Washington State or a current Compact License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Minimum two year's experience as Registered Nurse a psychiatric facility
- Minimum one year in supervisory, management or other healthcare leadership capacity that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelors preferred
