Job Summary
Provide administrative and clinical oversight during assigned shifts, coordinating patient care and hospital operations across multiple departments. Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff while making staffing assignments to meet patient needs. Respond to clinical and operational issues, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards. Assist with patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharge coordination while serving as a resource during emergencies. Requires an active RN license, leadership experience, and familiarity with behavioral health populations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience working with behavioral health patients
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Current BLS certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire)
