Job Summary
Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure Direct Support Professionals deliver services per policy. Directly supervise and participate in the orientation and training of staff while managing financial resources, including budgets and payroll. Maintain individual and agency records, conducting periodic audits for compliance. Develop therapeutic relationships with individuals, families, and agency personnel. Provide transportation to medical and psychiatric appointments and assist individuals with daily routines, self-care, and behavior management. This role requires flexible hours, split shifts, and weekend on-call rotation. Applicants must have three years of disability service experience, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- high school diploma or its equivalent
- Three years of experience delivering services to persons with disabilities
- Six months of service in a DSPIII position or six months of supervisory experience
- valid driver's license
- access to an insured vehicle
- clean driving record
- ability to pass a DHS background study
- basic computer skills
- flexible hours, including split shifts, varied days and times, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnights
- ability to cover shifts as necessary
- weekend on-call rotation
- regular travel into the community
- ability to work in a variety of settings both inside and outside the site and throughout the community
- ability to handle frequent interruptions, crisis management, and imposed deadlines
- ability to sit, walk, bend, lift, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- ability to engage in frequent problem-solving activities
- regular contact with individuals, family members, friends, federal, state or county regulatory personnel, other provider personnel, and the general public
- ability to interact with physically aggressive individuals
- ability to be exposed to infectious diseases, odor, and dust
- non-exempt employment classification
