Job Summary
The House Supervisor oversees the Ticket Ushers in the Entertainment Centre, from scanning tickets to seating patrons and assisting Security with emergencies. Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring staff, providing training, assigning positions, conducting performance appraisals, and maintaining performance documentation. Leads coaching to maintain staff morale and drive growth, handles escalated patron inquiries, seat reassignment, and accessibility seating, and enforces Entertainment Centre policies. Leads responses to emergencies requiring evacuation, contributes to Front of House policies, communicates with casino departments, prepares Front of House reports and records, maintains employee files, tracks monthly/annual costs for events, inputs daily shift data, and ensures Health and Safety compliance per Casino Rama policies. Requires strong communication, Microsoft Office proficiency, WHMIS training, Play Smart training, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This is a part-time role with benefits including extended health, dental, pension, PTO, and staff recognition programs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supervising staff in a customer-facing environment
- Ability to interview and hire staff
- Training and coaching abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures (WHMIS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and email
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
