Job Summary
Plan, organize, and supervise all personnel during designated night shifts when hospital management is absent. Administer and analyze objectives for patient care on a case-by-case basis while directing both professional and non-professional staff. Function as a resource person for supervisory members, assisting in their education and facilitating hospital-wide patient care activities in coordination with Department Directors. Anticipate changes and needs for action to meet organizational goals. Requires current Texas RN licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within six months. Bachelor's degree in nursing with clinical and management experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous clinical nursing experience
- Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills
