Job Summary
Lead, support, and mentor a team of Disability Support Workers while overseeing the day-to-day operations of two SIL homes. Provide direct, hands-on support to participants when required and work collaboratively with families and allied health professionals to implement support plans. Conduct staff inductions, supervision, and ongoing coaching while managing documentation, incidents, and compliance requirements. Ensure services are delivered in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards and organisational policies. Promote a positive team culture and address performance matters professionally. This full-time role is split across both homes, offering ongoing training and mentoring within a supportive leadership team.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in disability support
- Certificate IV in Disability, Aged Care or a related field
- Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and person-centred support
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Victorian driver's licence
