Job Summary
Part-time House Supervisor for Franciscan Health Mooresville (24 hours/week, days and weekends). Coordinates bed allocations and resources, supervises nursing staff, oversees admissions and transfers, and ensures that what needs to get done gets done. Serves as hospital administrator during tour of duty to provide direction and leadership, identifies and places all patients (including direct admits and transfers), collaborates with other departments to prioritize and authorize bed placements, and conducts daily bed briefing meetings with clinical areas. Requires RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent (RN Diploma/Associates with BSN within 3 years), at least 3 years of patient care/nursing experience and 2 years of charge nurse or leadership experience; travel is required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing / Patient Care Required
- Associates/RN Diploma
- BSN required within 3 years, any variation has to be approved by the System CNO
- 3 years Patient Care/Nursing Required
- 2 years Charge Nurse or demonstrated leadership skills Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in applicable state
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- TRAVEL IS REQUIRED
