Job Summary
House Physician to join the CICU and Cardiac step-down unit for nocturnal shifts. Provide advanced care for acute cardiac conditions including ACS, cardiogenic shock, arrhythmia, advanced heart failure, and post-MI care under supervision of an attending cardiologist. Perform and document H&P examinations; order, interpret, and act on diagnostic studies; perform ICU procedures (central venous catheter placement, arterial line placement) as credentialed; participate in multidisciplinary care planning; collaborate with cardiology fellows, residents, nurses, and ancillary staff; support quality improvement, education, and research activities; provide patient/family education and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine
- New York State medical license
