Job Summary
Nocturnal House Physician to join the CICU and cardiac stepdown units; provide advanced care for acute cardiac conditions (ACS, cardiogenic shock, arrhythmias, advanced heart failure, post-MI care); perform and document H&Ps, order/interpret diagnostic tests, perform ICU procedures (central venous and arterial lines); participate in multidisciplinary care planning; collaborate with cardiology fellows, residents, nurses, and staff; contribute to quality improvement, education, and research; provide patient/family education and discharge planning; MD/DO required with NY license, DEA, Medicaid; board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine; Mount Sinai affiliation; Elmhurst Hospital Center, Elmhurst, NY; competitive compensation of $84,000.
