Job Summary
House Physician for CICU/Cardiology stepdown with nocturnal shift. Provide advanced cardiac care (ACS, cardiogenic shock, arrhythmia, advanced heart failure, post-MI care) under attending supervision; perform H&P, order/interpret diagnostics, ICU procedures (central venous/arterial lines), participate in multidisciplinary planning, and contribute to quality improvement, education, and research; provide patient/family education and discharge planning. Requires MD/DO, NY medical license, DEA/Medicaid numbers; faculty appointment offered with Mount Sinai Health System; compensation competitive at $84,000; Spanish language skills a plus.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree
- board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine
- valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
