Job Summary
Nocturnal House Physician to join the CICU and Cardiac Stepdown Unit. Provide advanced care for acute cardiac conditions (ACS, cardiogenic shock, arrhythmias, advanced heart failure, post-MI care) under supervision of an attending cardiologist. Perform and document H&P, order/interpret diagnostic studies, and execute ICU procedures (e.g., central venous catheter placement, arterial line placement). Participate in multidisciplinary care planning, collaborate with cardiology fellows, residents, nurses, and ancillary staff, and support quality improvement, education, and research activities. Provide patient/family education and discharge planning. Requires MD/DO and board-certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine with NY license, DEA, and Medicaid number. Mount Sinai-affiliated faculty appointment and competitive compensation with emphasis on nocturnal ICU/Cardiology care. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
