Job Summary
Conduct thorough and deep cleaning of common areas including the lobby, public restrooms, breakfast area, elevators, pool, guest hallways, fitness center, and meeting rooms. Replenish supplies and amenities while managing operational expenses and minimizing waste. Satisfy guest requests, handle complaints, and deliver items to guest rooms as requested by the Front Desk. Greet all guests and associates politely, maintain a safe and sanitary environment, and follow Opal's safety protocols during emergencies. Walk the property exterior to ensure trash is picked up and debris is cleared. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, and fill in for other staff as needed. Maintain personal cleanliness, wear appropriate uniforms, and attend daily departmental meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma
- 1 year experience in the hospitality industry
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Flexible attitude to shifts – you may need to work nights, weekends and/or holidays
- Must wear appropriate uniform as prescribed by Opal's policy
- Must maintain personal cleanliness
- Strength – with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds and/or pushing/pulling heavy objects
- Willing and able to work any shift and fill in when other employees are not able to work their scheduled shift
- Willing to take responsibility and accountability
- Willing to work on weekends and holidays if required
