Job Summary
Clean guest hallways, linen closets, and public spaces including lobbies, restrooms, and elevators using cloths, mops, vacuums, and specialized machines like the Spin Bonnet. Strip and move furniture, replenish amenities and linens, and manage laundry carts while visually inspecting areas for cleanliness and reporting maintenance issues. Greet guests, respond to requests for items or assistance, and sign for keys. Perform essential functions requiring lifting up to 150 pounds and scrubbing surfaces, with duties extending to cross-training and other assignments as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to push or pull equipment weighing up to 150 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing an average of 25-80 pounds
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to communicate effectively with other associates, as well as guests
- Ability to follow instructions, directions, and meet deadlines, including daily cleaning of assigned hallways as specified by management
- Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions and basic guest requests
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be available for holidays
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be able to work varying schedules
- Must be able to work seven days a week
- Must be able to work twenty-four hours a day
- Must be able to attend group meetings

- Must push and pull vacuum throughout hallways

- Must remove dirty linen from room attendant's carts

- Must turn in all items found in associate's working area to the property Lost and Found Department
