Job Summary
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas within the hotel, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and meeting spaces, according to established standards. Deliver and retrieve linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment while responding promptly to guest requests for extra amenities. Empty trash receptacles, dispose of waste in designated areas, and restock supplies in public restrooms as needed. Keep housekeeping storage areas and carts clean, report maintenance issues or safety hazards, and assist with special projects or deep cleaning tasks. Adhere to health and safety regulations and proper PPE use. Work primarily indoors in public areas with exposure to cleaning chemicals and occasional equipment noise. Requires ability to stand, walk, lift, push, and pull items frequently, along with strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry items up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs.] frequently
- Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to [specify weight, e.g., 100 lbs.]
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
Desired Qualifications
