Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students while managing household routines, schedules, and budgeting. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions alongside weekly Chapel services. Plan and engage in recreational and developmental activities to foster academic, emotional, and social growth. Transition to a Placed Houseparent role after initial support of multiple homes. Requires a valid U.S. driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus. Salary is $44,768 per person with comprehensive benefits, free housing, and meals during duty.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
