Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School residence programs; married couple live on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, routine management, medication administration, transportation to activities, and leadership of daily devotions and Sunday chapel. They plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a Placed Houseparent role, with relocation to Hershey, PA included and on-campus housing, meals, and benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Married two-year minimum
- Two-person role for couples
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to on-campus life (no alcohol, smoke-free, weapons-free)
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Experience with youth preferred
