Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. The role is a two-person, married-couple position with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent with the same students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and participating in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and ensuring student wellness. Relocation assistance is provided, and the total compensation for a couple is approximately $180,000 with benefits. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and prior experience with youth; must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be at least 27 years old. This position is based at a Milton Hershey School on the Hershey, PA campus with relocation support and paid training.
