Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, facilitating routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and handling budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple homes, with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are included, along with on-site housing and meals during duty periods.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
