Job Summary
House Parents (Full-time Flex) reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, driving them to activities, planning developmental/recreational programs, leading daily devotions, and managing household routines and budgets. The role transitions from nine days on / three days off to a placed Houseparent assignment with a consistent student home. Relocation assistance is provided and compensation is per individual ($44,768, with housing/benefits). The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and aged 27 or older to fill this two-person, on-campus role. To apply, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse two-year marriage
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- No alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
