Job Summary
Provide daily supervision and mentorship for 8–13 students while managing household routines, administering medications, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Drive students to activities and actively engage them in developmental and recreational programs. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, eventually transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, aged 27 or older, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license to operate student home vans.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
