Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School: married couples reside in on-campus student homes to oversee approximately 813 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and structure; responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning engaging developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role progresses from nine days on/three days off to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students; relocation to Hershey, PA is required and relocation assistance is provided. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old. Two-person housing arrangement is a core element of the position.
