Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles live on campus in Milton Hershey School student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students; duties include managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from rotating nine-on/three-off shifts to a placed live-in houseparent arrangement. Requires married couples, ages 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
