Job Summary
House Parents for Milton Hershey School are a two-person, fully on-site, full-time role living in on-campus student homes to supervise and guide 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine days-on, three days-off cycle and can transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and being part of a legally married couple for at least two years with both spouses aged 27+, along with adherence to campus policy on smoking, weapons, and alcohol.
