Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) will reside on Milton Hershey School’s campus in on-site student homes to supervise ~8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage routines, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting/reporting. Initially work a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with eventual placement as a dedicated Houseparent. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits provided (health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement; meals and housing on duty). Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses aged 27 or older. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications

- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to reside on-campus in student homes
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth

- No more than three dependent children residing in the student home
