Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School to reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and activities for a group of approximately 8–13 students; two-person married couple; nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to placed houseparent in the same student home; relocation to Hershey, PA with comprehensive benefits and housing provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; must complete individual employment applications
