Job Summary
House Parents (two-person married couple) needed at Milton Hershey School to reside in on-campus student homes and supervise 8–13 students. Roles include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines, administering medications, transporting and planning activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. Initially nine days on duty followed by three off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Salary per person $44,768 with comprehensive benefits including relocation assistance. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and being part of a legally married couple aged 27 or older; must comply with campus conduct rules and complete both spouses’ applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Protestant/Judeo-Christian chapel involvement without proselytizing
- Relocation to Hershey, PA
