Job Summary
House Parents (two-person, married couple) will reside on-campus in student homes in Hershey, PA and/or Aberdeen, MD, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a Flex Houseparent to a placed Houseparent role. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a strong commitment to student wellness, safety, and Judeo-Christian values. The role supports relocation with paid training and comprehensive benefits; on-site housing and meals are included as part of total compensation per person, with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off initially. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models for students
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA or Aberdeen, MD (US)
- Willingness for on-campus housing
