Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, and support, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle transitioning to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
