Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent couples reside on campus in student homes and provide supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation, and engagement in developmental and recreational activities for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, planning activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation to Hershey-area housing and on-campus duties; benefits include health insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and relocation assistance. Requires on-campus living, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married relationship minimum
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
- Experience with youth (volunteer or work) desired
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
