Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, a two-person, married-couple role living on campus to care for a group of ~813 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from initial nine-on/three-off duty to a placed houseparent in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse relationship and two-year marriage requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working with youth
- Willingness to reside on-campus in student housing
- Comfort leading devotions and accompanying students to chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
