Job Summary
Conduct daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for a group of 8–13 students while administering medications and ensuring wellness. Drive students to activities and actively engage them in developmental and recreational programs, including leading daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, managing routines and schedules within a structured, family-like environment. Serve nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning eventually to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a legally married couple aged 27 or older with youth experience, a valid driver's license, and commitment to a smoke-free, alcohol-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
