Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students while managing household routines, medication administration, and student wellness. Drive students to activities and lead developmental, recreational, and devotional programs including Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting while maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled time on weekdays while students are in school. Requires valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
