Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA to live in on-campus student homes, supervise 8–13 students, manage daily routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule initially and later transition to a Placed Houseparent role; relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits included; requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and that both spouses be legally married for at least two years and aged 27+; housing, meals, and other duties are provided on campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples (both spouses must apply)
