Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes at Milton Hershey School to care for ~8–13 students per home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role transitions from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a placed Houseparent phase living with the same group of students. Requirements include being legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27 or older, high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, no alcohol on duty, smoke- and weapon-free campus, ability to relocate to Hershey, PA, and completion of individual applications by both spouses. Benefits include salary per person ($46,917) with total compensation around $180,000 per couple, comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
